PartSnap can assist not only with 3D printing & rapid prototyping, but also with design, mechanical engineering and product development.  PartSnap follows a very simple process to achieve design success:

  • Understand the Problem
  • Extensive research
  • Preliminary developments (2-3 concepts)
  • Evaluation and Prototyping
  • Final Design Development

PartSnap uses modern CAD software to rapidly conceptualize and communicate designs between clients and vendors.  Our software can read from all major CAD systems including SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo (Pro/Engineer), SpaceClaim, Rhino, and SolidEdge.

Our in-house 3D printing capabilities give PartSnap an edge in rapid product development and design validation.  Our designs have a strong focus on Design For Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).  The goal is to simplify the design, eliminate as many parts as possible, and ensure the design can be manufactured using cost-effective techniques such as injection molding, casting, machining, etc.

PartSnap accepts Product Development projects using several billing models: (1) Project Turn-key Pricing, (2) Hourly Work, and (3) on Retainer with a strong bias towards local Dallas / Fort Worth / Texas clients.  Retainers provide the greatest client benefit and project flexibility, and include additional discounts on prototyping services.
